Corners of York and Tankersley, England c. 1870's

William Corner was born in York Yorkshire around 1871. By 1901 he is married to Sarah and living in Tankersley Yorkshire. He has three pre school sons by 1901 (and who knows how many children after that date): William, Herbert and George. There are no other Corners listed in Tankersley in the 1901 census. William the dad was a farm labourer. William the child probably became a miner. His son, William of course, was my Dad, who died decades ago when I was very young. I have no idea what happened to Herbert and George.
