I am looking for any information about Sally Cornell. All I know is that her daughter Nancy S. Cornell married George W. H. Richardson in Cambridge MA on April 13, 1840.
In 1850 Sally was living with George and Nancy in Providence RI. At that time Sally was 59 years old. Actually, her relationship with Nancy is my assumtion, based on the 1850 census listing. The census also says she was born in Massachusetts, apparently around 1790. (In my earlier message about Nancy, I miscalculated Sally's birthyear.)
In 1860, George and Nancy are living in Cranston RI and the most likely Sally Cornell is living in North Providence with a family indexed in the census as Sallman. I think, comparing it to other entries, that it is actually Tallman. There are several surnames in the household: Tallman, Cornell, Maxwell, and Shepard.
If you have any information, clues, hints, or advice to share, I would be pleased to get it.
