After further research, Elizabeth's last name was Herston and not Huston! The death record converted the "er" to a "u" in Herston. She was married to John W. Herston 30 July 1878 in Lauderdale Co. Known children (from census records) are Thomas, James, Kate, Sarah Jane. John W. died 1925 Lauderdale.

McPherson Cornelius and Orlena Tidwell had a daughter named Cincinnati E. in the 1860 (age 4) and 1870 (age 14)census of Jefferson Co., AL. McPherson appears in the Lauderdale census records in 1880 with "Cincinnati E." no longer appearing.

Though I have no definitive proof, it seems the circumstantial evidence suggests that Elizabeth Herston was most probably "Cincinnati E.".
