well I meant that if we are all decendants of Cornelius that it splits at Gerret amd Mattheus and now it's one side or the other. Anyway, I'm new here and trying not to confuse myself. The Rembrandt issue has been known by my family for quite sometime, it's right up there with the land we used to own in Manhatten. My dad has a copy of the plat from the 17 or 1800's. I'll give him a call and get more info. I'm digging this forum. I think we have an interesting lineage no? I have a book that traces our side I need to dig up.
