I'm confused about matthew/Mathew Corn too. Is there any source anyone can give for documentation?
In VIRGINAIA cOUNTY COURT RECORDS-dEED & WILL ABSTRACTS OF ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VIRGINIA 1748-1852 albermarle Co. Deeds & Wills #1 May 1748-21 Sept 1752 Edited and Published by Rita and Sam Sparacio THE ANTIENT PRESS 1990 (pg 56): A Valuation of the Improvements of JOHN ADAM CORN's land, etc, etc. levyed 1748/9. I believe I have put this in it's entirety on the message board under JOHN ADAMS CORN. Also in VIRGINIA WILLS is Jno. Adams Corn, 1758, Albemarle Co. I apparently had written this in a notebook and didn't make copy of page and of cover page with publisher, etc. The William you mention was also there. I'm headed for SLC on Saturday and would like some source of just where to look for Mathew so I can trysresolve this in MY mind.
So far, I'm one of the researchers who is leaning toward John Adams Corn as being father of Jesse, George, John peter and Samuel, who were supposedly born in Albemarle Co, and went to Henry Co in 1780's. Mary
