With all due respect to Gary's post I have never seen official documents that can actually attest to Matthew and Molly being married. Only that Molly is the mother of Peter Corn (John Peter), Jesse, Samuel, and George. Maybe someone can provide some undisputed proof. As far as being from Germany, I say the same level of proof does not exist. John Adam seems to have come through the Isle of Wight and his passage paid by another along with five more passengers of which he claimed his head rights. Nicholas is documented to have come from Rotterdam and arrive in Phili in 1727 I believe and changed his name from Chorn. There is an Andrew whom we know was born about the same time as he was a documented surveyor in 1750 and we don't know where he came from. So there are many loose ends
