Mary, No doubt he is the one referred to as Old George and living in Yohogania Co, Va prior to going to Mercer Co., Ky. from Fort Redstone. I believe he is the brother of Edward b 1726, also Timothy, William and they had a sister Sophia. His father was supposedly Edward and Mary Jones Corn.
Ebenezer, Old Georges son, was a Lt in the Militia under Capt. John Swan and later Capt John Martin in 1782 in Kentucky. I have no information that Ebenezer was at Blue Licks. His name appeared in both the Gwathney's Register and the Eckenrode List of Virginian's in the Revolution. In a court in Harrodsburg,Mercer, Kentucky in 1780 he claimed a preemption of 100 Acres in the fork of the Licking River.
Asa Corn, son of Edward was killed at Blue Licks and George, son of old George was shot in the mouth but escaped the ambush there. Daniel Boone's son, Israel, was also one of the casulties at Blue Lick. They were serving under the command of George Rogers Clark at the time.
Judith Corn was born in 1790 and married John Mayo on 16 Feb 1809 in Henry Co., Va. They 1st migrated into Kentucky, then later to Indiana. She was to young to be a sister to Anna, possibly a neice. She died 26 Mar 1863 in Gibson, In. this would have made her about 26 when Anna Nancy Corn Hancock died in 1816 after becoming ill on the trip from Patrick Co., Va. to Dubois County, IN. She would hav been about age 60.
