John P - Mathew DeWitt - Martha S Corn

I am the great grandson of Martha Salina Corn (b. 8/05/1854 d 11-02-1942) who married Thomas Tipton Stepp. I made a trip to North Carolina in the mid 1980's to find my roots and visited their grave near Asheville NC with an uncle (I have a picture of the shared grave). While I was there, my uncle showed me some family memorabilia. A picture of my gggrandfather, seated with a mustache and a derby hat, and a very primitive picture of my ggggrandfather - a very old man with a white beard. He said that their name was Corn. I did not think much of it at the time but I have recently learned that these people are probably Mathew DeWitt Corn, and John Peter Corn. I am not a geneologist but have enjoyed reading the discussions of the origins of the line. My uncle has since passed away but I am launching a search for those pictures! I will certainly let everyone know if I find them. Am I correct in assuming that this lineage is correct? Does anyone else have these pictures? Does the history of photography go back that far?
