Amanda M Corn was the 3rd daughter of William Corn who was the 2nd son of John Peter Corn.
William m Phebe Adams in Patrick Co., VA 1 Jan 1812. The family lived in Buncombe Co., NC for many years. Phoebe apparently died there. William moved to Union Co., Ga and on to Lumpkin Co. by 1850 Census. He and son John Peter Corn II were listed as gold minors in the Lumpkin Co. Census. Amanda had sisters, Rosana, Caroline, Stacy and Elizabeth and brother John Peter II. Ther may have also been a brother Jackson but not sure. He was named as 29 and born in NC in the 1850 Census.
No info on Amanda and Thomas Calhoun's children.
