Mary, I got my Samuels confused. John Peter also had a son named Samuel. The Samuel you refer to is the brother of John Peter and Jesse. The information about him seems scarce. I read somewhere he went to Tennessee after the Revolution. but again that could ahve been Jesse's son. Sorry.
