Does anyone have any info on SAMUEL CORN, b prob. Albemarle Co. VA, 1754 or 1764, depending on sources. married ELIZABETH (unknown), was in Henry and Patrick Co VA in mid to lat4e 1880's, through 1820. Prob. died Patrick Co. One LDS print-out lists his children as: John Corn, b in VA abt 1786, died Patrick Co 27 June 1857; Mary Corn, b. bef. 1788; Elizabeth Corn, b 20 Aug 1788 TN, M. Joshua Adams; Samuel Corn, b. 25 Feb 1790, M. Mary Slaughter, died in MO, Susannah , b 20 Feb 1791 m. James Joyce; Nancy , b.Aug 1795, m. Rowland Ingram; and Richard Corn b. abt 1797, in Patrick Co. These Corns are all pretty confusing to sort out. Are there any other descendants of Samuel and Elizabeth who are researching this family. Samuel's brothers are George, who married Elizabeth Ladd and Dolly Litterall, prob died 1820, Ohio (according to D.A.R) Jesse, who married Nancy Hancock, and most of family moved to Franklin Co., TN, and John Peter,(who has more researchers) Married elizabeth Parr. They moved from Albemarle Co VA to Henry Co with their mother, Mollie, a widow in 1780's. This is a different branch of the family than the Kentucky Corns who went to KY from PA, although they probably connect somewhere, because they all sure like to repeat and repeat same names, which does keep us all in a state of confusion. Thanks a lot. Mary
