Hi- I just discovered this page and not sure i want to tackle this right now but here goes anyway. This is from; VIRGINIA COUNTY COURT RECORDS-DEED 7 WILL ABSTRACTS OF ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA MAY 1748--21 SEPT 1752 - Edited and Published by Rita & Sam Sparacio- THE ANTIENT PRESS 1990 (p56) p. 147 A Valuation of the Improvements of JOHN ADAMS CORNs land. To 24 Apple trees, to a Nursery, To a Dwelling House; to clearing and fencing. To Tifelies found on ye Plantation: We are informed there was a Dwelling House and Two thousand rayls burnt. To his trouble in going to ye Plantatio , to the valew of ye work done outside the Plantation; To levy ye 1748-9 (signed) JOHN ROBARDS jOHN LADD HENRY TRENT (appraisers) There's more but trying to condense a bit. this was in Albemarle sct June Court 1749. Jesse, George, John Peter and Samuel Corn (brothers) were supposed to be born in Albemarle In VIRGINIA WILLS- IS jNO Adams Corn, 1758 Albemarle Co. VA. One appraiser above named LADD- George Corn, married first Elizabeth LADD, 2nd Dolly Litterall. d. prob Ohio 1820, according to D.A.R. Jesse named 1st son John Adam Corn. John Peter named son Adam. Input, please?
