There must have been two contemporary Sam Corns around Lone Jack during this time, or your Sam Corn re-married my grandmother's sister whose name was Widdie (Perdue) Corn from around Sni-Mills, MO or Lone Jack, MO. Maybe they were first cousins, or maybe "my" Sam was the son or nephew of yours. Judging from the age of my grandmother, Lillie Loudora (Perdue) Beggs who was a sister of Widdie (Perdue), my Sam was probably born between 1865 and 1875 . In the early and middle 1930's, as a small boy, I remember my Sam was the "thresher machine man" who pulled his thresher with a steam engine and went around the Tarsney, MO, area threshing grain. Does that help identity him? These two Sams have to be kin. My Sam lived the first house south of the intersection of Colbourn Road and Corn Road in the Tarsney community with a Lone Jack address. Help!
