Mike, Would appreciate anything you might find out re; James. I think he could have been a child of John Ripley Corn son of George Corn. George was the 1st tosettle in Ohio and he brought 10 of his children with him in abt 1814 according to a Ironton Jackson Co., OH newspaper article. John R Corn was listed as a voter in the 1st election in that area in 1816. George his Grandson, the son of Peter, named Pleasant changed the spelling to Corns also.
