Don't know where you got this information!! It's all mixed up! Maybelle Corn Purkey was my grandmother--her maiden name was Corn, she married Arthur LeRoy Purkey, not unknown Milligan! Their daughter Mary Elizabeth Purkey married my Dad, Vaughn Worth Milligan. Hannah Josephine Corn was my Great Grandmother; she was unmarried when she gave birth to George Washington Corn and My Grandmother Maybelle Corn in Asheville, NC. She moved to Knoxville, TN in 1888 after giving birth to Maybelle, Married Thomas Brewer several years later. They had several children together. Blessings, Sharon Abigail Milligan Anderson
