All, Just thought I'd relay a hint that the Google Book Search is a great tool for genealogists! First type "Google Book Search" in your search engine or go to http://books.google.com/. At the Google Book Search site, type in: "Adam Corn" Georgia. This will bring up a few hits. Select/open "History of the Georgia Baptists - Vol. 2 By Boykin, Samuel, published 1852." This will take you to an image of the page in the book where you can read about Alfred Corn and his father, Adam, with a picture of Alfred. You can right click on the page, select "Save Picture As" (recommend you save images as .jpeg or .bmp files) and then save the image of the page to your computer to print out a copy later. I've found several other good historical references to my family using Google Book search and just thought I would pass this along. Note: Sometimes full images aren't available, and you are only given "snippets." But usually if you select the "About this Book" link, you will be taken to a page that gives complete reference information about the book and there is another link to let you search to see if it is available in a nearby library! Its very useful--and all free! Janice Nolin Descendent of John Peter Corn through his son Adam. Notify Administrator about this message?
