Nancy Stepp 10 July 1834 to 28 April 1865. Her parents were William Stepp and Mary Ingram Stepp. Nancy was born and died Henderson County , NC. It was Buncombe County until 1840.
John J Corn came to Kentucky with Mathew and Catherine Fletcher as he appears in the 1870 census with them in Knox County, Ky at age 13. He later went back to Henderson County NC to marry Ellen Osborne Drake. They had 2 children Minnie Pearl Drake and Doctor Mitchell Leander Drake. (given name, not a medical doctor). Minnie married a 2nd or 3rd cousin Pinkney Preston Corn and Dock married Ursula Florence Vaughn. She was tragically killed when one of their sons guns discharged and killed his mother instantly.
