I have only just begun to research the Cornes line and therefore have little information. Here's what I have so far:
Shirley Cornes (my mother-in-law) was born on October 19, 1929 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She married Albert James on October 29, 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Shirley is the only child of Frederick Cornes and Mary Aldora (Dora) Lemon. Fred was born on April 28, 1905 in Grenfell, Saskatchewan and died on June 25, 1986 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Dora was born on January 26, 1906 in Fleming, Saskatchewan and died on May 5, 1979 in Winnipeg. Manitoba.
Fred's parents were Fredrick Cornes and Annie Huddleston.
