Alan,
I had another long reply all but ready to send, when I again lost it. I have MS and at the present have my right hand bandaged across the entire palm, I don't know how or why I lost it but I don't have the energy to repeat all of time.
In short I only have the pension papers on John Peter Corn, but on his brother Jesse were have copies of 18 or 19 cards (about 3 1/4" by 8") and entitled--"Company Pay Roll" and "Company Muster Roll." I assume there are the same for John Peter. There is also a master card which has the following:
"Corn, Jesse [in handwriting]
7 Virginia Regiment [printed]
(Revolutionary War.) [printed]
Private Private [in handwriting]
Card Numbers [Printed]
[Then in two columns there is a list of numbers from
1 to 50]
[Then in Jesse's case there are handwritten four
digit numbers in 1 through 18 detailing the card
numbers pertaining to Jesse.]

I suggest that hereafter we communicate individually rather than fill up the message board. My e-mail is
lcandbc@aol.com -
Larry
