I posted a marriage of Catherine Corn and James hazleton Mercer Co. KY 24 June 1788, with EDWARD CORN giving consent for his granddaughter. Taken from; MERCER COUNTY KENTUCKY RECORDS Vol. 2 by Michael L. Cook C. G., Cook Publications, 3318 Wimberg Ave. Evensville, Ind. 47712. i copied this info at FHC in SLC last week. I have no particular interest in Edward, just thought someone else could use the information, since although not showing his age, it gives a clue to generation in KY in 1788. Maybe he is the Edward listed in DAR records as serving in VA?? He's the girls grandfather and she is of age. What age óf age"in KY in 1788 and how old you estimate her grandfather to be, I will leave up to you.
