Corn/Robertson in Jackson County, Alabama

I am looking for the family of my g-g-g-grandmother, Martha H.J. Corn. She was married to James McWhorton Robertson on October 1, 1851, in Jackson County, Alabama. James was teh son of Warning Peter Robertson & Frances Holmes Calloway. James & Martha's marriage license shows their names as Martha H.J Chorn and James M. Robinson. The "H.J." probably stood for Harriet Jane, as that is the name of one of her twin daughters, Harriet Jane Robertson Jacks (my g-g-grandmother). The 1860 Jackson County Census lists Martha Robinson (common mistake), aged 25 years, as being the head of the household. Children listed are William C., age 6; Mary, age 4; H.J., female, age 4; James, age 2. Also listed is Jane W. Corn, age 53, born in Virginia. This is most likely Martha’s mother. If you have any info on this family, please contact me at byrdman10@iname.com.

Thanks,
