you have to shake a tree to get an apple

I have a serious topic to broach. The William and David Corn of first Ky. then Pike County, Indiana who moved to Pike along with their "two brothers" Edward and Andrew are not in fact brothers. William and David came to Ky. from S.W. Pa., Washington County, to be exact. They left that place after the 1800 Federal Census and appeared in Ky around 1807. That means that all who trace their line to David Corn who married Mary Burtle are NOT related to the Edward who died in 1798, but to William Corn, the eldest son of the Edward Corn who died in Hampshire County in 1754.
