Well, the report seems to be right that John Adam had a wife named Mary. Could she be Mollie/Molly? I still have never seen any papers that show Matthew as having a wife named Molly or Mollie. Nor have I ever seen any papers that show Matthew having owned any land in Albemarle or any records about Matthew other than folklore.
