According to D.A.R. records on George Corn, 1st wife Elizabeth Ladd, was brother to Jesse, John Peter and Samuel." äll fought in Rev War", but I can't find any records for Samuel. so Elizabeth's father was John Ladd? He appears as witness on tax valuation 1749, Albemarle Co, for John Adams Corn's land improvements on ÿe plantation". You gotta admit, there is SOME connection. If John Adams isnt their father, what's his connection? His inventory going back to Albemarle Co. does sound like he can't be. I haven't seen that inventory and would like to.
