Hi Debbie,

I also have Robert and Marie (Peraud)Cormier from France came to Cape Breton, New Brunswick around 1644. These are definitely the two that started the Cormier line in the Maritimes.

Then, Jean or (Jehan) Cormier arrived Bathurst, NB 1761.

Then, Bernard Cormier and Marguerite De Grace m. 12 Jan 1873, Bathurst, NB, son Pierre Cormier.

My great grandparents were Timothy Cormier & Margaret Fournier, son Victor Cormier (my grandfather). Please let me know what you find out in France. We may be looking for the same Cormier line. I have a researcher looking in New Brunswick.
