Modern Acadian Catholics need to show and get respect for thier Huguenot ancestry by proving to the Huguenot Society that we deserve
"The Cross of Languedoc" (The Huguenot Cross is not only beautiful and symbolic, but possesses the added charm afforded by the romance of history and tradition. It recalls a period of valor , constancy, faithfulness and loyalty to truth. It is becoming more and more a sign among descendants of the Huguenots throughout the world. The cross should be placed on our flag, included in our Catholic churches, added on our heraldic shields, etc. Why? Because of Harsh and terrible treatment in France (1500-1700) by then an Unjust Jesuit society led by power, land and money hungry
Cardinal Richielieu to appease an Anti-Pope (rich nobles who pay to become a Pope with no religious back ground)backed by King Francis,King Charles ,King LouisXII and King Louis XIV, Huguenot were fleeing France while there Catholic neighbors took over there property and burned there temples of worship(main reason its hard to physical records of birth, marriage, and deaths of Many Acadians in France. But modern geneaolgist are finding in forgotten areas of old church libraries of protestant records. Catholic Priests(not jesuit affiliated)kept good records of thier catholic Congregation and hide the protestant records to protect them from Jesuit auditors. Also for every Acadian surname there is a Identical Surname immigrant fleeing to the English colonies as a Huguenot. As for the Acadians they enjoyed relious fredom in Acadie, they were called Huguenots, heretics and undevout catholics by the Jesuits that controlled Canada. In the begining of Acadian colonization a Protestant Lawyer named Lescarbot perfomed worship till a Catholic priest (disliked the Jesuits controlling and causing havoc in the Mother country and Canada)arrived in 1667 who won over the Acadians in a friendly way. This Priest Joined the Acadians in trading with the English colonies (Note: No Jesuit would deal with Protestant Heretics)Acadia throughout its History was governed by Huguenots such as De Monts, De Pourtrincourt,Admiral David Kirk, Charles de Tours,Oliver Cromwell,De la Valalliere, John Paul Mascarene
