Can anyone put parents with these brothers(?) who came to the Western MA area in the late 1830's? Peter's obituary states he came to the US first to Randolph,MA, then went to Adams,MA. He was born about 1831 in Becancour,Quebec.Peter,Louis, and Philip were in Spencer,MA living in an Inn in 1850. The obit states Peter married and went back to Adams for a few years, then returned to Spencer. Louis also returned to Adams where he married in 1852 to Chloe Kenley(my ancestors). Philip is a mystery and John resided in N.Adams up to the 1890's,then disappeared.Louis also disappeared in 1881.
The names William,Louis,Charles and Frederick have significance in this family as several children of these gentlemen had these names.
Hope someone can help! Trish
