I just received the following info from an uncle of mine. It appears Linick was my grandfather's middle name his full name is joseph linick cormier with the following lineage: Robert 1610-1712; Thomas 1636-1690; Pierre 1682-1730; Pierre 1704-1751; Michel 1740-1790; Pierre 1776-1847; Pierre 1799-1876; Belisaire 1830-1857; Romain 1881-;Joseph Linick 1907-1980. This info was gathered by Jean-Claude Cormier during Congres-Mondial. I am particularly interested in Belisaire and Romain. Please keep in mind that I have not confirmed any of this yet. Any help would be appreciated.
