I'm trying to verify my own family history, and what I have is a little different from this. According to information my aunt collected back in the '70s, Jean-Baptiste and Madeleine Landry had 7 children: Marie-Anne in 1770, Francois in 1772, Pierre in 1773, Joseph in 1774, Marie-Therese in 1775, Marie in 1783, and Alexis in 1784.

His son Francois, who married Charlotte Fournier, the daughter of Jean Marie Fournier and Marie Dionne, had at least 6 children. I only have male names and the girls may be missing. I also don't have any years. The names, which I believe to be in order of birth, are Damien, Cyprien, Fabien, Francois, Honore, and Louis. I believe Fabien was my great-great-great grandfather.

I don't know where this info came from, and I've started trying to verify it. My aunt who collected this info passed away several years ago. My understanding is that the church in St. Basile, which would have records of the births of Jean-Baptiste's children and possibly his grand-children has burned down and that those records no longer exist.
