Actually, I have something on Abraham Cormier.
Born 1585, in East St Jacques, de Dieppe, Normandie, France. He died in 1628 in La Rochelle, France.
The information I have is, He married a Catherine LeMoyne or LeMayne in 1609 in La Rochelle. He died in 1928 in La Rochelle, France.
It is believed he is the Father of Robert, Born 1610, Aunis, Charente-Maritime, La Rochelle, France.
This is based on research done by the University of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Also by, Paul Cormier who has been reasearching the Cormier name for many years.
This information has been a topic of dispute for a few years. And may not be correct. I choose to believe it and it is, as far back as my records go. I have nother further back than that.
