I am searching for information on my great grandparents Michael Corliss(Corless)and Bridget Devine. Michael was born in Ireland between 1831 and 1835 and according to his naturalization papers he immigrated to the U.S. in 1850 through the Port of New Orleans (althought I have not found a ship manifest that confirms his arrival). His parents were Edward Corless and Hannah Connelly. He married Bridget Devine Lynch on January 10, 1883 in Louisville, Ky. He died in Pewee Valley, Ky. on January 10, 1916. Bridget was born in or about 1844 in Ireland. She immigrated to the U.S. between 1850 and 1860. Her parents were Michael Devine and Ann?. She married Michael Lynch and after his death, married Michael Corliss. She died Decemger 6, 1924 in Louisville, Ky. I am particurally interested in determining the Counties in Ireland from which they came.
