I am looking for the connection between Mary Emma Corliss, wife of Senator Edgar Truman Brackett (NY), and mother of Charles Brackett, screenwriter/producer.

Mary "Emma" Corliss was related to well-known inventor George Henry Corliss, and I believe that she was his niece. If so, then it would have been through a brother of George, but I can't find any information. Does anyone know who Hiram Corliss's other children were, and how Emma fits in? By the way, Dr. Hiram Corliss was a well-known abolitionist in NY state... Thank you for any information. Carolyn
