I'm sure you are right Margaret. I have a Catherine Reilly as witnessing my Michael and Mary Stevenson's marriage in Feb 1861;Mary Corless as a godparent in 1868 and 1871; and John in 1884. I also have a John Rielly, James Diviney, Bridget Divinny and Bridget Kealy as godparents to Michael and Mary's children.
My grand father John married Mary Cormican from Killchrist in 1906 in NYC (her mother was Annie Keely per your note to David Hann).They lived at 1145 38th St. I can email you their naturalization pictures to show your mom if you like.
There was also a James John Corless living at 1239 40th St. His children were Maryann and John James, I'm not sure of the dates.I'll email you...Joe
