Catherine Corliss and Jerome Feeney were my ggggrandparents. Their son John was born June 1824 in the town of Kinvarra, county of Galway, Barony Kiltarten, diocese of Kilmadough. He came to the U.S. Nov. 15, 1847 via New York and settled in Palmer, Mass. with a short stop in Springfield, Mass. to visit friends. His sister, Margaret(my gggreatgrandmother) was in the U.S. by 1860 and married Patrick McBride in 1864. She settled in Wales/Monson, Mass. area. There was also a sister Mary who came over to the Boston area with her daughter Catherine in about 1890. Does anyone know anymore about this family? Anything would be greatly appreciated.
