I have researched the Corley family in Thomaston, GA.
John Madison Corley's father is Zachariah Corley born about 1787 and was living in Pike Co., Ga. in 1850 census.
John's mother was Nancy Froman born about 1787. Zachariah's father could be Catlett Corley but not the Catlett Corley of Edgefield S.C. which was a famous Revolutionary War hero. Many people mistake the famous Catlett when there are two Catletts in SC at the same time.
