My ggreat grandfather Martin E.B. Corley was a younger brother of Hethy and Vincent Corley. During my research on Martin I have gathered a little information about Hethy, although I have not personally verified it. Most of it came from other researchers including Ge Lee Corley Hendrix, who is now deceased.

One piece of information indicates that Hethy married a Goodwin(first name unknown) before she married John Bartley. It also indicates that Hethy might have been the mother of Amanda Goodwin who was born on Aug. 25, 1825, although there is a conflict because Hethy is supposed to have married John Bartley before 1822

Another piece of information indicates that Hethy died in Meriwether County, GA on July 24, 1847 and was buried in the Corley-Cumbie-Bishop-Reaves Cemetery which is near Cove Baptist Church, near Woodbury, GA. I have been to that cemetery several times. Vincent Corley and wife Mary are there but I did not see a marker for Hethy. However, there are three unmarked graves there. I went there originally looking for Martin E.B. Corley, but had no success.

Amanda Goodwin married Joel Mann in Meriwether County in 1842 and had eight children. I have their names if you are interested. Amanda died in Meriwether County in 1916.
