Paul, I don't know if anyone has helped you yet, but just in case (sometimes I can't even remember who I helped already!)...
Lewis and James Corlew were the third and sixth children respectively of Solomon Corlew (b. 17 May, 1780 Springfield, Vermont) and Theodosia Brown (b. 1788).
Solomon was the son of Thomas Corlew (b. 26 Aug 1736 Scituate, Mass) and Mary Russell (b. 28 Jul 1743)
Thomas Corlew was the son of Edward Corlew and Abigail Russell. This is the Edward Corlew who came to Mass. in 1730 from England, was in a shipwreck off the coast, survived and settled in Scituate, Mass.He married Abigail Russell 21 Apr 1732.Edward and his first 4 sons (Thomas and his twin brother, Edward, included) were soldiers together in the French War.--Venus
