At last, I finally found kinfolk!
Thomas Corlett is my g-g-grandfather.
Thomas' parents were John (born 1824) and Eleanor Corlett.John, a native of Dunfriesshire, Scotland, emigrated to Canada, but I don't know when. There he met his wife Eleanor, a native of Ontario.John and Eleanor had 12 children. Thomas Alexander Corlett, the third child, was born on August 7, 1863 in the county of Grey, Ontario, Canada. He graduated from Owen Sound Collegiate Institute, attended Toronto University Medical School, and graduated from Detroit School of Medicine with the class of 1892.He began his practice as a physician and surgeon in Manton, Michigan, in 1893.He married Mary E. (Stimpson) Corlett (b.1874 d.1937) in Cadillac, Michigan on August 31, 1897.
Thomas died around 1907, but I have no idea how or where.
Thomas and Mary had one child, Donald Alexander Corlett, Sr. in 1899. His eldest son is my father, DAC Jr.
