My grandmothers maiden name was Corfield and lived in Birmingham, her mother, my great grand mother moved to Birmingham from Mamble, but we believe the family originated in Montgomery. I have an old "Psalter" given to me by my grandmother many years ago with a hand written inscription inside the front cover which reads: "Thomas Corfield His Book 1791" The standard of writing suggests a well educated person and I have thought many times about researching the family. Would like to hear more.

Regards

Gary Franklin
