Thanks for the reply.

The family I am most interested in is Henry Matthew Corfield born 1818 baptised 1821 St.Giles Cripplegate to Henry and Mary. He was a fishmonger.

I have him in the 1861 census married to Elizabeth with seven children and his wife's mother Susannah Jackson age 81 years old. Trouble is I can't find the marriage of Henry Matthew to an Elizabeth Jackson. The marriage in 3Q/1840 for Henry Matthew gives ladies names as either Maria Clark or Emma Stone.

As it is the Jackson line that I am trying to research, I am stuck to prove it at the moment. Everything else seems to fit, the ages the places etc. The IGI shows first three children born to Henry Matthew and Elizabeth, and the mother Susannah age 81 fits perfectly.

I have followed the family through the later census and the children also, and still everything fits. If you can help at all with this marriage would be extremely grateful. If you want any details from the census etc. that I have be happy to let you have copies.

Look forward to hearing from you.
