Has anyone researched John Lewis Corey, of Onondagua NY? What I seem to find is that it is widely accepted that Lucinda Rhodes, his wife, is also the mother of the children...Moses, Solomon, Almeda, Hamilton, John, Delia, and Elsie. The children were born btw 1809 and 1820, yet marriage records show John and Lucinda married in 1832 in Cayuga, NY. Does anyone know if this is John's 2nd wife, and who then, was his first wife? Has anyone had success learning who his parents were? I think there is strong opinion out there that he was born in Bennington, VT, but I do not the source for this. Any help would be great. Thanks.
