The Social Security Death Index lists one Frank Core whose last residence was Ohio. He was born 30 Oct 1912 and died July 1975 while residing in Rayland, Jefferson County, Ohio--not far from Yorkville.

That means that he would probably be listed in the 1920 & maybe 1930 US Census with his parents & siblings. With luck, it will be in the Jefferson County-Belmont County-Wheeling area, making him easier to separate from the other Frank Cores in the US. Ancestry.com has an every-name index for the 1930 US Census, which makes things faster.

You can request a copy of his Social Security records, which might help. Go to this web site:
http://ssdi.rootsweb.com/

Click on Advanced Search. When the next form comes up, type in his name, "OH" for State under Last Residence, then click Submit.

It will display the birth and death dates that I mentioned above. Over at the right, you will see "SS-5 Letter." If you click on that, it will provide you with a form letter to request his record.
