Charlene: You're right, Andrew S. Core, my gg-grandfather had a brother David, but David was born in 1795 in Maryland, married Margaret Reitz b. 1798. They lived in Tyler Co VA and had 8 children including another David b. 1839.
Harper Samuel Core, a brother of Andrew & David, also had a son David b. 1831. I don't know anything else about him.
I'm almost sure that your David was of this family, but I don't know just where he fits. Andrew S. Core came from a family of 15 children, most of them born in German Twp, Fayette Co PA, and I don't know how many of them migrated to Tyler Co from PA. Their father died in PA in 1842 and their mother Fanny died in 1852 in Tyler. My address is DLMSABLE@juno.com if you want to discuss this further.
