Ryan:
You have a cousin Ryan who lives in Greenwood, IN who is about your age. The Cores of my family trace back to New Jersey. Frank Core is the name of one of my great uncles but he last resided in Richland County, WI. My best take on the origins of the name Core go back to Germany when it was spelled Kohr. There is some evidence of Cores in Scotland but it is thought they migrated from Germany and changed the spelling of their name. There is a West Virginia Core who is a scientist, biology I think. I see his name mentioned when I look for Cores.
