John,
Norman was my mothers first husband, my father never adopted my brothers Lewis and Jerry out of respect for their father. However, we were raised as brothers and the Staum Family is also my family if not by blood then by the heart.
Gorden and Odessa's children are my cousins and we played together at family events and get-togethers as such. We still maintain contact with each other at Christmas, etc.
