Hey all! I'd just like to update all of you who have been searching for CORE relatives from PA, MD, OH, and WV. Here's the deal:
Michael Core's name was originally spelled KUR or CURR, and he came over in 1728 with his second wife Anna Maria, his daughters Elizabeth and Anna from his first marriage, and Georg Caspar from second. I have a copy of his will (he died in January, 1749 at the age of about 75), and I discovered a man who is a direct descendant of Georg Caspar, and still lives in Lancaster, PA, where he researchs Core/Kohr genealogy. I also have a file on the descendants who traveled from MD to WV and back to PA, as well as onto OH, if anyone is interested. (Apparently, they crossed back and forth over the borders of PA, WV, and OH a lot!) Email me!
Also, the whole confusion with all the Christians? Well, the files I have on that try to explain it all, but frankly, it just become a mish-mash of information in my head, and I haven't yet found time to really struggle through it. If anyone is up to the challenge, please let me know, and I'll be glad to send you copies of what you need. Thanks! Night!
