Hello Casey-

I have been delving through census for the Cordrays, and wonder if you have made any headway with your line? I am curious about an entry for the 1840 census for Jefferson Twp., Muskingum County, Ohio, where it lists George, Isaac, and John Cordray all next to each other. I am assuming that this is your Isaac? Are George and John sons of your Isaac then, or son John, and grandson George? You list parents as Thomas Cordray and Comfort Bryant.

I am supposedly descended from Thomas E. Cordray, son John Cordray, and daughter Maria who married Ebenezer Green in 1827. What I am having trouble with is deciding which John Cordray is which. Also, there is Thomas E. and then just Thomas. They are thouht to be cousins, but as far as I know nothing is proven.

Have you found wills for any of these Cordrays?

Thanks so much,
Libby Stone
