Carolyn,

Thanks for the additional data. Most of my info on the older generations agrees with yours. Except when we get down to Thomas E. I show his wife as Elizabeth Christopher. And I also have Sarah Smith as his brother, Noble's wife.

I had William, b. Aug. 1, 1796, Eleanor, b. 16 Apr 1800 and James S. b. 1814 as children of Thomas Davis Cordery III, but am now doubting William and Eleanor.

I did't have a birth date for Thomas E.and the 1760 surprised me as I have five sons with birth years in the 1770's for him. One of them is Thomas (don't have a birth date for him), and I'm wondering if this family could be his instead of Thomas E.'s. The 1820 census for Jefferson Twp., Muskingum County, Ohio has Thomas E. (age over 45) with just one daughter and a wife (age over 45). In the same twp. is another Thomas Cordery with a family that could pretty much fit with the family you have for Thomas E. Also a John Cordery about a generation younger than Thomas E. (one of the sons I have for Thomas E. is John). What do you think?

Like yours, this is also a working file. Any reasonable additions or corrections are welcome.
