Margaret Cordrey, b. about 1801 in Maryland, married David/Davis Hemminger in 1821 Tuscarawas County, Ohio. Before his untimely death in the 1831-32, they had five children: Tabitha Ann, b. 1822; Joseph Adam, b. 1824; William Madison, b. 1826; and Davis Perry, b. 1832. All the children were born in Tuscarawas County. In 1840, the young widow married Amon Shannon and moved, with her children, to Indiana. She had one more child, Lucinda, and died in the early 1850s in Blackford County, Indiana.

I am trying to establish the parentage of Margaret. One source I have found says she is the daughter of Nathan Cordrey and Dorcas Ayres. Does anyone have any idea where this Margaret came from?
