How nice to find a page devoted to Cordreys! I'm looking for information about Nancy (Sizemore) Berryhill Cordrey, married Wilson Cordrey, a Cherokee, around the close of the Civil War. He came from Georgia. They lived at a place known as the Dave Rider place near Ft. Gibson, OK. They lived the rest of their lives in the Cherokee nation after the close of the Civil War. Nancy died near Braggs, OK in 1894 and was buried in the old Cordrey burial ground at Ft. Gibson. Wilson died at the home of his son, Cooper Cordrey, near Park Hill in 1895. Nancy had two sons by a former marriage to Jefferson Berryhill--named AJ (Andrew Jackson, or "Jake") Berryhill and Pleasant ("Duke") Berryhill, lifelong residents of the Muskogee area from 1856-1937. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Notify Administrator about this message?
